The members of the National Council of Urban League Guilds, founded in 1942, are considered the heart and soul of the movement. Guilders, who are between 45 and 95, contribute thousands of volunteer hours annually, play a pivotal role connecting the League to its communities, and raise funds that allow the League to deliver programs that help pave the path to power for its people.
