  • Since its formation 95 years ago, the National Urban League has published books, magazines, and other publications, that capture, illustrate and provide insight into the black experience in America.

    The League's seminal publications include: The State of Black America, the Opportunity Journal magazine, Urban Influence Magazine, the weekly, syndicated To Be Equal column, written by National Urban League President & CEO Marc H. Morial.

    The League's Policy Institute- its think tank - produces a number of special reports throughout the year that examine the impact of economic, social and political issues on the black condition. Reports such as "Quarterly Jobs" analyze the current economic trends and their impact on African Americans in the labor market.
