All media are invited to attend the press conference and the keynote address. Press conference panelists include:
- Marc H. Morial, president and CEO, National Urban League
- Michael J. Critelli, board chairman, National Urban League, and chairman of the board and CEO, Pitney Bowes Inc.
- N. Charles Anderson, president and CEO, Detroit Urban League
- Roderick D. Gillum, vice president of corporate diversity for General Motors Corp. and the host committee chairman for the National Urban League
The keynote speakers for the opening day kick-off ceremony are Marc H. Morial, Michael J. Critelli, and G. Richard Wagoner, chairman, president and CEO of General Motors Corp. and the 2004 conference general chairperson.
