The National Urban League, and those who we help, is dependant upon your support to ensure the survival and expansion of our nationwide network of local Urban Leagues as well as supporting the efforts of our leadership team that works throughout the year to provide advocacy, public policy, grant writing and research on behalf of Urban League affiliates.
 
About two-thirds of your contributions are funneled directly to our local affiliates to assist Urban League program participants. Your tax-deductible contribution demonstrates that you share our vision of economic equality for all Americans.

Ways to Donate
Your donation to the National Urban League can be made by check, credit card, stock gifts or other securities, planned gifts, real estate, or in a plan that works for you.
 
Contribute Online - Our secure gift service offers a quick, convenient and safe method for making a contribution using your credit card.
 
Contribute via a check, credit card, or by wire transfer from your bank - Contributions are fully deductible to the maximum extent allowed by law for the year in which you make the contribution. When wiring a contribution, contact us to obtain the wire transfer information that will be needed by your bank.
 
Contribute stock or other securities - You may claim a tax deduction for the full market value of appreciated stock, bonds, and other kinds of securities that you have held for over a year. Contact us to make arrangements to contribute securities.
 
Contribute via an Employee Matching Gift Program - Many employers will match charitable donations made by their employees (often on a 2:1 or 3:1 basis). Contact the Human Resources or Public Affairs office at your work and find out if your employer offers such a program.
 
Consider a Planned Gift - Name the National Urban League, or one of our affiliates, in your will. You can make a bequest in several ways. For example, you can specify that the National Urban League receive a one-time fixed dollar amount or a percentage of your estate. You can specify that, after other beneficiaries are given fixed amounts, the National Urban League receive the remaining assets. Contact us for the information you will need to make this arrangement.
 
Contribute in other ways - Consider contributing a life insurance policy, establishing a charitable trust, donating real estate or personal property, or taking advantage of the sale of a company. Contact our staff to work with you to facilitate these and other creative giving options.
 
Contribute by donating your eBay proceeds to the National Urban League.

 The National Urban League is part of the eBay Giving Works program which allows sellers to give proceeds from their sales to a favorite nonprofit, and helps nonprofits raise funds by selling on eBay too. You can also contribute to the National Urban League through the Ebay’s Donate Now feature, which lets anyone with a PayPal account donate to the National Urban League right away –without buying or selling anything.
 
President’s Circle
The National Urban League has established the President’s Circle to acknowledge, honor and reward those dedicated philanthropists who share our vision of overcoming the persistent inequities that weaken our country and diminish the lives of millions. As a member of the President’s Circle, you will be invited to complimentary special events and receive free subscriptions to Urban Influence and Opportunity Journal, our premiere magazines. In addition, you will receive recognition through multiple platforms, including our annual report.

Opportunity Circle
The Opportunity Circle donor support program brings together leadership-level individuals who share a strong commitment to the vital Urban League movement and are able to contribute $1,000 or more annually.
