The National Urban League's Development Department is charged with securing grants from individuals, foundations, and corporations to ensure the financial viability of the Urban League.
To ensure that the National Urban League's funding base is as broad as possible, we work to build relationships to support direct services, advocacy and research in Urban League affiliates in over 100 cities and 34 states in five empowerment areas: Education and Youth, Economic Development, Health and the Quality of Life, Civic Engagement and Civil Rights and Racial Justice.
A tax-deductible contribution to the National Urban League brings African Americans of all ages, closer to full and equal participation in the American Dream as we Empower Communities and Change Lives.
