Scheduled for Organizations 2000 Annual Conference
New York, NY, July 6, 2000More than 70 companies will participate in the National Urban Leagues Career Fair 2000 during the organizations 2000 Annual Conference, scheduled for July 29 through August 2 at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center, the League announced today.
As in years past, the sponsor for this event is Compaq Corporation, and participating companies include those drawn from among the Fortune 500, the high-tech industry, and the non-profit and government sectors.
Applicants who wish to secure on-site interviews in advance of the Career Fair can submit their resumes online at the National Urban League Web site, www.nul.org. Job seekers attending the Fair should bring several copies of their resume and dress in appropriate business attire. Resume workshops are also planned.
Admission to the National Urban Leagues Career Fair 2000 is complimentary. Hours and dates are as follows: Saturday, July 29 from 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM. Sunday, July 30, from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Monday, July 31, from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
